Hailey Horn, Montclair Center Director

Hailey has spent the last four years developing a career in non-profit organizations since graduating from Marshall University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in History. She learned how impactful technology can be when she was an AmeriCorps member for the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia, where she developed content for a history app and mobile website called Clio. After a year long fellowship with a national non-profit in Washington D.C. she relocated to Montclair new Jersey in May of 2018, and was acquainted with her new community by being the Marketing Coordinator at Montclair Film. During her tenure at Yukodit she plans on empowering young people in her community by giving them the tools they need to succeed.

Callie Rae McCarthy , Parent Outreach
Callie Rae’s passion has always been in alternative educational opportunities for youth. She got her Master’s degree in Education, with a focus in special education but rather than continuing into a public school position, decided to work in areas that support extra-curricular learning. From helping youth and adults to learn to love reading, to a Montessori classroom, to years of summer camp, she has seen first hand that learning can occur anywhere. Currently, she works as the Director of Family Experience for a nationwide summer day camp program and teaches outdoor education classes on the weekends. When she’s not working, she spends time with her two kids and husband, while still finding time for her passions: baking and piano bar karaoke.
