Yukōdit’s youth game studio allows Middle and High School students to learn the ropes of video game making with the pros from award-winning indie game developer E-Line Media. Students will follow the same processes used in professional studios, taking on multiple roles on the game team (e.g. designer, engineer, artist, producer).
Discover the fundamentals of game making and what it means to be a studio member by completing a series of introductory game making and modding projects for 2D, 3D and Virtual Reality (VR) in partnership with seasoned instructors and game industry pros. At the same time, students get hands-on instruction in game development and coding (in the C# language) using Unity, an industry-standard game making tool. As they level up, students will have the opportunity to take on team-based design challenges, create original games and learn more advanced development techniques.
Through games, curriculum, youth competitions and hands-on programs, E-Line has helped over a million kids explore their passion for game making. Yukōdit is proud to join a newly-launched network of youth-led game studios.
No prior game making or coding experience is required.
